'Beauty and the Beast' receives PG rating

The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) released its latest list of ratings and surprisingly Beauty and the Beast was among this week's batch. The upcoming live-action film received a PG rating for "some action violence, peril and frightening images." The rating a step above the 1991 animated film's G rating, but in line with recent Disney live-action adaptations, including Cinderella, Maleficent, and The Jungle Book.
