Josh Gad: "It's exactly what you would want it to be."

Josh Gad continues to discuss Beauty and the Beast while promoting his new FX show The Comedians and I could not be more thankful. In his latest interview with IGN, Gad discusses the extraordinary Facebook post written by Ian McKellen following the first table read in London, as well as watching Emma Thompson perform "Beauty and the Beast," the Oscar winning song sung by Mrs. Potts in the film. Gad calls the live-action adaptation "an amazing tribute," but a film that is also "creating its own new territory."
